Pricing, returns & refunds policy

This document combines pricing and returns, refunds & calculation for Pasutam Dairy. Delivery and cancellation rules are in our delivery & cancellation policy.
Part A — Pricing
A.1 Display & MRP
- Where applicable, MRP is shown as on packaging; our price may be at or below MRP per applicable rules.
- The price at checkout applies; channel offers may differ from offline retail.
A.2 Dynamic pricing & errors
Prices may change with supply or promotions. Obvious errors may result in order cancellation and full refund, or a request to confirm a corrected price.
A.3 Taxes
GST and statutory levies apply as per law and appear at checkout where required. You pay the final invoiced amount including taxes.
A.4 Delivery & platform fees
Delivery, small-order, or service fees (if any) are disclosed before payment and may vary by slot, distance, or promotions.
A.5 Promotions & coupons
- Offers have eligibility, dates, and limits as shown in the app.
- Stacking rules and wallet/cashback expiry follow offer terms.
A.6 Invoicing
Tax invoices or bills of supply are issued as per law and may be available in-app or by email.
Part B — Returns & refunds
B.1 Eligibility
- Quality / damage: Report within the app window (often a few hours for perishables), with photos if requested.
- Wrong item: Report promptly; we may replace or refund after verification.
- Non-perishables: Unopened, salable items may be returnable within the stated window unless hygiene or law prohibits it.
B.2 Exclusions
- Late complaints after acceptance.
- Misuse, poor storage after delivery, or force majeure.
- Items marked non-returnable at purchase.
B.3 Refund methods
Approved refunds go to the original payment method or wallet as offered. Bank timelines often range ~5–14 business days.
B.4 How refund amounts are calculated
Refunds use the net amount paid for affected lines after discounts, not list price alone.
Full line return: (Unit sale price after discount × quantity returned) + proportional tax for that line, minus any disclosed restocking fee.
Partial line: Pro-rated: (Approved qty ÷ Ordered qty) × line net paid (including proportional tax).
Delivery / platform fees: Refunded only when the whole order is cancelled before dispatch or when we commit to it at checkout; partial returns usually exclude delivery fee unless the entire delivery failed.
Cart discounts: Allocated across lines by pre-discount value unless the offer says otherwise; refunds use each line’s allocated net.
B.5 Replacement vs refund
We may offer replacement where feasible. If you unreasonably refuse a valid replacement, we may still refund per B.4.
B.6 Disputes
Contact support with your order ID; we will share the breakdown (items, taxes, discounts) and fix genuine errors.
