Delivery & cancellation policy

This document combines our delivery rules and cancellation & charges rules for Pasutam Dairy. For pricing and refunds on products, see our pricing & returns policy.
Part A — Delivery
A.1 Service area & availability
Delivery is offered only in pin codes and zones where we operate. Serviceability is checked using your saved address or GPS pin. We may expand, reduce, or temporarily suspend service due to weather, regulation, operations, or safety.
A.2 Delivery slots & timing
- You select a delivery window where available. Times are estimates; minor delays may occur due to traffic, routing, or demand.
- Same-day and next-day options depend on cut-off times in the app. Orders after the cut-off move to the next available slot.
- Subscription or recurring deliveries follow the schedule you confirm; changes follow the cancellation sections below.
A.3 Address & access
You are responsible for accurate address details, landmarks, gate codes, and contact numbers. If our partner cannot locate or reach you after reasonable attempts, the order may be treated as a failed delivery.
A.4 Handover & proof of delivery
- Delivery completes when the order is handed to you or your designate, or per building/society rules where authorised in the app.
- OTP or digital acknowledgement may be used as proof where enabled.
A.5 Failed delivery & reattempts
Failed delivery may occur if you are unreachable, refuse without valid grounds, or the site is inaccessible. We may reattempt as per operational rules; fees may apply if disclosed. Perishables may be handled per food-safety rules; refunds follow our pricing & returns policy.
A.6 Cold chain
Chilled products are transported to maintain quality. Refrigerate promptly after handover. We are not liable for spoilage after successful delivery due to delay on your side except where consumer law requires otherwise.
A.7 Delivery fees
Fees, surcharges, or minimum order values are shown before payment. Pricing mechanics are also described in our pricing & returns policy.
Part B — Cancellation & charges
B.1 Cancellation by you (before / during fulfilment)
- Processing: If you cancel before the order is handed to the delivery partner, you typically receive a full refund of amounts paid for cancelled items (including taxes), subject to app messaging at checkout.
- Packed / assigned: A cancellation or restocking fee may apply, disclosed before you confirm cancellation.
- Out for delivery: Cancellation may be unavailable; refusal is governed by returns rules. Unjustified refusal may incur attempt charges.
B.2 Calculation of cancellation refund
When a fee applies:
Refund = Total paid − Cancellation fee − Non-refundable charges
- Total paid — amount charged after discounts.
- Cancellation fee — fixed or % as shown, capped as stated.
- Delivery fee — usually refunded if the full order is cancelled before route assignment; may be retained after dispatch starts.
B.3 Modifications
Item changes may be allowed only before cut-off. Price differences use rates at modification time. If modification is unavailable, cancel per B.1 (fees may apply).
B.4 Cancellation by us
We may cancel for stock, safety, or legal reasons. You receive a full refund for affected items (and delivery fee if the whole order is cancelled). No cancellation fee is charged to you.
B.5 Subscriptions
Pausing, skipping, or ending subscriptions follows in-app controls. Charges for completed deliveries are not refunded; future billing stops after the effective cancellation date.
